Our story
The history of Fiftybeans dates back to 2013, when specialty coffee in the Czech Republic was still in its infancy. Back then it was very difficult to find decent quality among all the dark Italian roasts. The roasteries offered excellent branding rather than a good product. All the coffee tasted exactly the same. Almost no one knew that coffee is a fruit and that it can offer much more than the general bitter taste of badly prepared espresso.
And we decided to change it. We know that it will always be a long shot but in Fiftybeans we believe that only with patience we can make the difference. We can transform your cup of coffee into a real experience.
Nowadays, our portfolio includes several types of coffee designed for different brewing methods. With us, everyone can choose to their satisfaction. All the coffee from our current offer is in its own way so unique that we wish to drink it every day. And we would like to share these unique coffee jewels with you.
The Fiftybeans coffee
Our choice of green coffee covers a whole variety of flavors and aromas. We purchase our coffee either from verified suppliers who respect this raw material and people connected to it, or we source the beans directly from farmers. Most of the single-origin coffees do not stay long in our warehouse. Like any other raw material, green coffee ages and loses its sparkle. We try to prevent this by storing the coffee bags in air-conditioned warehouses and also by innovative methods of freezing green beans. However, the key is to optimize the purchase of coffee so that we are able to buy fresh crops according to current harvests.
Our services
We always roast coffee twice a week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. So you can be sure that the coffee will get to you really fresh.
