For automatic machines:
Set the grind size to the second finest setting. If your machine is older than 4 years, choose the finest setting. Set the water temperature to medium. Adjust the espresso output to 45ml. Fine-tune the settings to your preference.
For manual machines:
Set your espresso machine to 6 bars of pressure and a temperature of 91°C. Grind 18g of coffee and extract 42g of espresso in 30 seconds. Adjust the output to suit your preferences.
Good to Know:
For espresso preparation, always use beans that are at least 10 days post-roast. After opening the bag for the first time, let it vent for at least 24 hours before brewing. This helps avoid unwanted bitter notes in the flavor.
